HELP NEEDED! 

The PTO is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to be part of the Seneca Ridge family! Below are the following Committee Chair openings (along with a basic description of responsibilities) we are looking to fulfill.

 
 Staff Appreciation - Committee Member
Work with current Staff Appreciation Chair to develop all staff appreciation events, including coffee carts and Teacher Appreciation Week. Solicit funds from community businesses.
 
Minority Student Achievement Advisory Committee (MSAAC) Representative 
Represent Seneca Ridge at MSAAC meetings

Advise the local school system of the educational and cultural needs of the minority student.
Cultivate an equitable educational experience for all students that will positively impact achievement gaps. 

 Special Education Advisory Committee SEAC Representative
Represent Seneca Ridge at SEAC meetings
Provide valuable information about LCPS special education programs, services, and activities.
 
Tailgate Co-Chair
Assist with the planning and execution of the Seneca Ridge tailgate event.
 
Battle of Route 7 Chairs
Plan and execute the Battle of Route 7 (soccer match against Sterling Middle), including selling tickets and managing concessions.
