We Love Our SRMS Teachers & Staff!
They put their hearts and souls into helping our kiddos prepare for their next steps to high school, and the PTO shows their appreciation for their dedication throughout the year.
We start the year off with a welcome-back luncheon the day before school starts. We plan coffee carts, pot lucks, and other community-driven events, as well as the traditional Staff Appreciation Week in the spring.

We are planning to do something every month! Event sponsorship opportunities:
- Morning mobile coffee cart - We will be taking coffee to classrooms in the morning, and we will have items like donuts, muffins, yogurt, fruit, granola bars, etc. as well as coffee and assorted breakfasty beverages. $300-$500
- Afternoon mobile snack cart - We will be taking snacks to classrooms in the afternoon, and we will have items like full-sized candy bars, chips, fruit, granola bars, cookies, etc. as well as coffee and assorted other drinks. $300-$500
- Break room snacks - The school has 3 staff break rooms (one for each grade). We will restock the K-cups in each, and provide grab-n-go snacks similar to what we do on the carts. We will set up 3 batches of everything, one in each of the break rooms. $300-$500
- Pot lucks - We will host pot luck lunches with contributions from parents (example: crockpots of soup and chili), and a sponsor would provide funds to supply all of the extras that would make the event complete (like bread, toppings, drinks, sides, etc). $200-$300
- Gift card giveaways - Mr Cottone recognizes outstanding staff every week, and includes small denomination gift cards ($10-$20) with his award to them, and the PTO funds these prizes.
- Teacher Appreciation Week sponsor (in May) - sponsor a lunch, breakfast, snacks, or raffle prizes during the week.
